Dunya Fibers, a pioneer in the textile recycling industry in Turkey for over four decades, recently installed a fully automatic robotic bale press line in its Ergene Tekirdag plant. The process is fully automated with a robotic balling system, making balling process simpler and faster.

This technological advancement has remarkably decreased the carbon footprint while increasing efficiency and making its operations more sustainable.

“For every kilogram of textile waste we recycle, we feel a progress towards a cleaner world for our children and future. We are passionate about our job and continuously invest in new machinery to ensure our work continues for years to come,” says Enes Turkel, co-owner, Dunya Textile Fibers.

Family-owned Dunya Fibers provides high-quality recycled raw materials to numerous industries, including nonwovens, automotive, medical and yarn spinning, with a production capacity of 1200 tons per month.
